The Laborers

Michael was saved at the age of fourteen. He did not get grounded in God's Word until his late twenties. He answered the call to preach in 1988 and in the late fall of 1988 surrendered to missions. He has been a youth pastor at two different churches and also an interim pastor for eight months.

The Work

The Motley's are on deputation to go to Puerto Rico where they will be planting churches, soul winning, and evangelizing the lost. They will also train the nationals to the ministry and eventually take over the churches they establish.

The Area

They will be going to Camuy, Puerto Rico, which has a population of about 30,000. The island has 4 ½ million people. The predominate religion is Catholicism, which accounts for about 93% of the people. Christianity is less than 1% of the religious make up of Puerto Rico.
